Re: Could it be an Olympic ? I can see in the picture half chrome forks and I can see the seat stays going round the frame but I can't see what the cups look like ?

Re: Thanks for all your replys, I'm new to all this so learning the hard way, I have been doing some more digging and it does steer (excuse the pun) towards a falcon, I've found a picture of the same frame but different colour with the same forks as well. (Proberly mine before it was painted...

Re: I was also Worried about the weld across the bottom bracket, wondered if that was covering up the frame Number ? As the one on there dosent seem to Match anything ? Also the detail on the fork cups seems smaller than on others I've seen. ?

Good evening, I have recently bought a frame which I was told was a 1979 Carlton, I've since bought it he and I can't work out the frame number and I'm now wondering what I have actually bought. Many thanks
