What a BOTM! You think you've seen it all, then literally a dozen bikes I've never heard of appear. Quite the education this month. Well done rubon87 for a deserved win, and big thanks to those who voted for my Sintesi, You've exceptional taste :)
AdeC's 1994 Sintesi Bromont
I bought this from Bikepro in Kings Heath, Birmingham way back in the day. Still sees some action on the occasional dry day. Happy to make up the numbers, just like it's racing days!
I got a set of replacement EFC elastomer's from fguki. I only really needed the 2nd and 3rd stage ones as the main stacks were in good order. Stripped, cleaned, fresh oil in the damper and these forks are working as good as new. No more top out clunk!
You cant see them, but they're in there...
He's done a YouTube vid of the build:
Clearly not a Kona expert, so despite the multiple ebay listing antics, I'd say he probably doesn't know its not a Kilauea
Alessio is a great guy to deal with. Bought a rim and some skewers and they arrived really well packaged and in great condition. Comms are always fast and fun. He's a credit to Retrobike. 👌
He's still out there doing great things in the retro realm. Another fine transaction. Bought a lovely seatpost from Mark for a great price. A pleasure to deal with.
