Hi there, I think your 'more likely' is correct,. That shoulder on the upper cup is Chorus shaped. The C-record is a single taper shape. Caged bearing ball count will confirm. 20x3/16 Chorus, 25x5/32 C-record. All Velobase.com information.

A thought here - Not all people have equal inside leg measurements ( nor hand or feet sizes or arm length), so it's quite possible that for some people, different L and R crank lengths are a necessity. Anyone on here finding this or know of it? Especially if it is amongst the professionals...
