Purchased a 1950 Claud Butler Avant Coureur and according to the resident V-CC CB subject matter expert, the braze on shifter bosses would have been added at a later point. (see photo's) I beleive they are for Simplex shifters, but am trying to make sure before I start buying off of eBay...
