Buy both and swap out the skewer for a rear one?Hi, DM sent regarding Mk1 Hope skewers in the hope that one day I’ll find a matching blue mk1 rear skewer.
Thanks, David
I would if I could find a matching blue Mk1 rear skewer. I’ve seen plenty in other colours, mainly black, but rarely in blue and always missed out on buying them. I’ve got a newer pair of Hope skewers at the moment and all the other bits are period correct for the bike and all the anodised components are blue. The skewers currently fitted being a much later type is the one thing that really bugs me on my bike. I’m just odd like that.Buy both and swap out the skewer for a rear one?
You've lost me. There are two skewers in this post, both fronts. Why can't you buy them both, then simply buy a rear one (this one for instance: https://www.retrobike.co.uk/threads...-front-control-tech-ti-bolt-on-purple.500420/) then swap out the rods?I would if I could find a matching blue Mk1 rear skewer.
