Just to add that bikes are always worth more in parts than as a whole bike. I think the parts and frame on would struggle to make more than £150, and it takes time and effort to sell them.

Thanks for the insight it’s much appreciated. I think I will hold onto it and use it for myself. I bought it for my son who’s gotten tall and grown out of it and barely used it anyway. I’m too old and scared to go serious off-roading … but will enjoy a gentle ride on the Wirral way!

I think that sounds a brilliant plan - you should get far more value out of it that way!
