Opinion on Joytech Hubs

I have a pair of Joytech hubs. Actually labelled iL JOYTECH. The front is stamped 95B and the rear 95D. They came attached to a pair of Araya rims. I'm pretty sure these were stock wheels from a mid 90s MTB.

Anyway, they feel really smooth, and I doubt they have ever been serviced. The spokes are shot, but I'm thinking of lacing them back to the rims.

It's hard to find much info about them. Anyone recommend / have some background knowledge?

joytech made lots of hubs for other brands. they are average at best but consistent, a bit like a shimano exage hubset - seems to last forever
Thanks for the input. They sound like solid value then. Anything particular you'd recommend hubs wise from around '95? I have a pair of M737 hubs spare, but I think they're 32H and I need 36H for the Araya rims.

Those hubs suit the rims, and are original and working.
I doubt you'll wear them out if you service them.
Otherwise stx or stx rc are pretty and last, as long as they are kept away from salt - if that's the right period
