1992 Steel rigid Stumpjumper

Good starting price, mixture of original (forks, seatpost, saddle, stem, bars, shifters, derailleurs) and new parts (wheels tyres, v-brakes) with mismatching cranks drive side to non drive side.
19/20 inch frame

I bid it up in the last hour, but sowmone else snagged it

I had a snipe running at just over the ton which I was appropriate due to the stuck seatpost. If it needed professionally removing, that adds £80 to the cost. I was very interested though since the larger sizes don't seem to come up that often.

Post can be removed for about £4 from steel if you're going to strip it down already

Agreed, a Stumpy frame and original fork alone is worth that much, and there was a full set of parts thrown in too.

Plus there can't be too much seatpost still in there so hopefully not the hardest removal.

That said I didn't bid nor win.
