How do you carry spare disk brake pads?

My Hope pads lasted 10 years and around 30,000 miles

65 mile road ride required an extra bacon sandwich whereas a very muddy rim brake journey killed a wheel rim

I think this is probably a bit OTT. If I want to punch something/someone, I'll just use a gloved hand.

I'll take it out, you are right, it isn't really needed and I shouldn't really be using a closed hand I suppose.
