What's the late 90s steel frame of choice?

Can't believe I forgot Breezer!! In my defence mine are all 1994 or earlier

I have been after a Jet Stream for a few years! You also have the Lightning and the Thunder that I think were still steel in the late 90's.

Also there is Brodie Sovereign (Which has the added bonus that you will automatically win BotM if you enter)

Cove made some nice frames with more modern geo too like the Handjob

If you were used to riding frames of Cindercone quality then on-ones or surlys felt a bit gas-pipey.

Salsa, now there is a good shout, but not very long travel fat tyre orientated, so a little old fashioned already.

In many ways, the nice steel frames were hanging on from a vanishing world.

The geometry was changing to meet new demands, and so the tubes got stronger and stiffer to withstand greater stress. Weights were largely rising too. Bikes and riders
