‘92 Orange Aluminium O seat post size

Hi all.

Could anyone please confirm the correct seat post size for a ‘91 stamped 92 model Orange Aluminim O.

all mine have been 27.2mm

Think mine is more like 27mm but I'll double check?

All of my "O"s use a 27.2mm post. ...... although I did sell one "O" frame that came with it's original 27.4mm post. This might explain why all of my "O"s have a coke can shim as I was getting slight slippage when riding.

There's more choice of seatpost in a 27.2mm size. With 27.4mm - I think your limited to a Kalloy one and that's it.

It seems to have clamped up with a 27.2 shim on a U.S.E post, it did take some winding in though so may go down the beer can shim route yet.

Yeah that’s exactly what I’m thinking, I’ll have a few tins tonight and set about making one. That is unless I can find a 25-27.4 shim but not holding out much hope.
