Cleaning stuff.... Differences?

Apologies if this has been covered before.

Have used muc off for years, sometimes peatys, or generic gt85 for cleaning out shifter muck etc

But is there any difference between the bike stuff, and the motorbike stuff? I've noticed there's an ebike section now too! Surely marketing?

It's more the silicon shine stuff, apart from using it on the frame it also smells good

I've often noticed the motorbike stuff is cheaper!

I used to use a mixture of washing up liquid and baking soda. Will take the grime off anything!

They do say though that washing up liquid contains soap, and baking soda is caustic, so you'd want to get it all off, leave no residue.
Proprietary products should have a slightly better formulation, but you could do this easily in the kitchen.
