Hardest saddle known to man..

The Flite Evo Carbon's would probably rate high on the list. No padding and bare CF.

My posterior has never had the pleasure though.
Some give built in to the structure,
I had one, Broke it in a crash.
OK if weight is more important than comfort.

The flite XP that replaced it, which has a thin layer of foam and leather too, is not at all bad.

Brooks have a bipolar rider reaction.
"Bloody awful waste of money"
or
"The most comfortable saddle I've ever owned."

Little in between.

I've been selling them for 30 years., so have got a lot of feedback - which makes me tend to dissuade the unready.

"Oh I've heard they're really good"
is a "you're not ready"

But what about the saddle in the yellow pages ad?

Reckon I’ve been through at least a dozen Brookses and never bought one new. Pick them up ‘pre broken in’ off eBay, someone else has done all the hard work and absorbed the roughly 75% deflation in value too. Win win!

Everyone’s different innit? The two least comfortable saddles I ever had the misfortune to perch my posterior on are a Flite and a Rolls. I saved for ages for the former when a gangly yoof and ended up giving it to a mate.

He of course, loved it.
