Thought I’d do a “who’s got the hardest saddle”

My vote is for this gooch killing, arse cheek ripping saddle..

Leather? Least that has some flex unless it’s that’s bad lol

Looks comfy mind you most saddles look like the eyre for skinny lightweight people

I used a Selle Royal briefly that had a thick leather cover like a Brooks glued on to a hard plastic base. It was excruciating and felt like a torture device. I normally use Brooks saddles and they are a lot more forgiving.

The Flite Evo Carbon's would probably rate high on the list. No padding and bare CF.

My posterior has never had the pleasure though.

There are quite a few saddles on the interwebz made of actual wood. Lots of different designs and techniques for making them. Get it right and you could be comfy, but get it wrong and they will definitely be the hardest saddles known to man. I didn't know it was a thing tbh.

We don't all have the same seat, I find the tune komm-vor comfortable while others after use would be broken in two...

I remember hearing bitd that WTB made wooden prototypes and refined them until they were comfortable and then replicated them in plastic and foam for production.
