Suntour Scott Pedersen front brake options...

I just came across a set of Suntour 9000xc(?) canti brakes at the co-op today and they followed me home. (Along with a silver Campy potenza crank & BB, gloves for the lady, a vintage Trek cycling hat and a pink bottle cage, none of which I was looking for.) They're the SE brakes and I was just wondering what would be the front Suntour mate to one of these? Or what would be a reasonable priced alternative that would sort of match? I have some LX and Dearhead canti's but I'd like to keep it Suntour or something interesting that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. So no Onza, Paul or the like, if I'm going to pay over $100 a piece used, I'd just go Avid Ultimate new.

Any ideas?

I don't believe suntour did an SE front, so the standard black xc front would make a matching pair.
+1

They look almost identical, best match for sure.
I also don't know of a Pedersen front brake. The self energizing concept wouldn't work with forward facing canti bosses.

It would obviously need to work the opposite way from a rear or they'd be self un-energising.

I think I had a pair of two ages ago but never used them as while I try to sometimes build things to a period, I always end up running v brakes as it opens up fork options among other things.

I have a pair of those. Although mine don't have the Pedersen SE logo screen printed on them. That could have come off though. And mine don't come apart to overhaul them. Which is kinda why I picked up this rear suntour one because my rear one is notchy feeling. The front works great but I'd like to be all matching. Latent OCD...

K. Thanks for your help. I wasn't sure if there was a set these came with. Now I got a find a decent pair of Pro's or 9000's at a decent price locally because I don't do eBay if I can help it. Been burned by eBay to many times.
