Repro “Onza Porc” white tyres

Well done for making it all happen and I’m sure making a lot of people (inc your self) hally

I’d love a pair for show but I’m struggling to justify the money for a show bike / never actually ride them (I’m not questioning the price just saying I can’t justify it when I wouldn’t ride them).

Can you not get the factory to send them to UK I never understood the amount postage costs from USA it's more than anywere else even before this bollocks with trump and alot of us sellers add on 10% to 20% vat on eBay weather that's the seller or eBay taking the piss so it ends up costing more than the item another question mate can you not print the onza mottif on them or are you not allowed cheers

The shipment is on the boat, ocean shipments cannot be redirected. Take a look at the website and have a read about why we decided not to put the logo on.

Great job and kudos to you @Aidandebradney for making this happen for the rest of us!

So what's next? Now that you know what the task entails and how much time, money and effort is involved, do you think you might be doing something like this again? Perhaps it would be easier to decide if you could gauge interest or could get commitments (pre-orders?) from the community before taking on such a large financial obligation? I sense a business opportunity for someone like yourself willing and able to take on the challenge. I for one hope that you are VERY well paid, and that more products are eventually in the works.

My vote for your next product: Lightweight 26 x 2.1 Ritchie Mega Bytes with Kevlar bead.

Instead of logos, perhaps tires molded in a proprietary (to you) color? Turquoise? Or even your own logo, should this become a recurring situation? Just a thought. Best of luck in your endeavors!

Thanks for the support, it’s appreciated.
I thought about pre-sale, and I decided against it. Too much pressure, what if the tires get delivered and they’re not as pictured, what if the shipment gets damaged in transit, and so on and so forth. Not much fun refunding 500+ people their deposits. The way I formulated it, was that it if it’s a complete flop, then I know I did something cool for myself, and I got my 2 pairs of tires I wanted.
Moving forward, I’m not sure, yeah it would be rad to produce more tires, but the time taken away from my real business was taxing, plus talking to china when they’re multiples of hours etc ahead, means that as I got home from ‘real’ work, the work with china would begin until about midnight, and then up for my real job at 4:30am. So let’s see how this goes for a few months, hopefully you bought yourself a few pairs to support the cause, because it’s folks like you that make the long nights worth it.
Thanks again.

Everything understood! ...however, you still will have to live with the analysis or the simple discussion about facts.

Its not always all a simple "dont buy it then". Well guess what - the people dont even want to buy them! Still, they have every right to state their opionions.

Good luck with the sale! I still like the fact that someone took on that adventure and the costs!

Turns out, a lot of people do want to buy them. A lot. Almost sold out in USA now too. I’ll send an email blast when the first air shipment has sold out.
