Does this mean it's no longer in a lock-up in a dodgy part of SE London? Also, that paint is a lot more pink that I was expecting. MBs of this era did tend towards these somewhat interesting paintjobs.
What did the 531 decal say as there looks to be red writing under the 531…if it’s competition then that 50 quid is a true bargain
It’s still arguably in a dodgy part of SE london
but was liberated from the lockup tonight. It’s red and then pretty pink as it fades. I mostly stripped it and gave it an initial wash tonight. Great fun on a lovely evening with a cold one. No issues discovered so far but it’s not staying with me. Or that’s not the plan anyway

Nice one for taking the plunge. Rusty bits dont look too bad from here (70 odd miles and wearing rose tinted varifocalsIt’s still arguably in a dodgy part of SE london
). The pinkiness looks great in proper daylight.

These are easy to date, by the way - the first two numbers of the frame number are the year. This one looks to be around 1990ish.
