GT Avalanche Dry Ice Style

I'll let someone else have the joy of buying it as i have enough to keep me going, as much as I would love to own it. I just want to focus on my Zaskar project as that will cost enough to get all the bits for it!
😁
Did you buy a bike or a frameset?

He mentioned to me he was going to sell his Zaskar… my size too and my dream model, but i’m getting another bike from @raidan73 soon!!! 🤪🤣👌😎

Look forward to seeing the build @Black_puma
Thank you, I am just in the process of contemplating how to go about repainting the forks, whether I'll do it myself (a nice new challenge and a very steep learning curve) or if I should get it powder coated...

Black gloss powder coat on forks should be fairly cheap and very robust. Assume you’re going black? You haven’t been inspired by @PhillB and his fancy pants creations??? 😜

Unless you want the challenge of learning to spray or keep the budget as tight as possible (ignoring your own time!) then I’d go powdercoat. Do the forks have the triple track dropouts (x3 options on fork rake) as in wet paint this area would chip more easily too.

Yes the forks will be black, as they were when they were new.

Looks like a 16” to me. I used to measure the chainstays (16.5”) on pictures to help me work out what a 16” version would look like as the catalogues always had BIG framed bikes photographed. Wiltshire isn’t too far from West London and then tie in visiting somewhere en route…
We're an hour from Wiltshire 😁 stop over if you need the break Tim.

Looking forward to seeing- I love building up bikes from a frame set (even though it is the most expensive way!!
Can be, or you buy ANOTHER bike, rob the groupo, but here comes the difficult bit... sell the frame and forks you don't need! 🤪🤣
(I think, with a 91 Zaskar you have a choice of SUNTOUR or Shimano too IIRC??)
In 1991 from memory they came as a frameset only so up to buyer to choose between the two S's. Do like a Zaskar with XC Pro, but an expensive, trickier option vs. Shimano
Looking forward to seeing what you have coming too @27motorhead !!
Me too! Won't be able to do anything with it for a while due to the chaos of the house renovation
