I never heard of broken seat tubes on Attitudes (besides the "normal" cracking around the relieve cut for the seat clamp). I´ve seen you mention this earlier, but AFAIK a number of early Attitudes had incorrectly reamed headtubes (undersized or reamed out too much). Affected frames were not repaired, but replaced. It is not clear if the added "B" before the "AT" moniker correlates to this probelm being solved, or (more likely) it was to distinguish subtle design changes regarding the cable inlets and length of the TT.BAT serial means the seat tube was broken (general fail on the first ones of the first year back then) and had been recalled and repaired in factory ...
I would say so. I’m no Klein expert but this colourway with full XT kit and looks like decent original paint (unless I’m mistaken) = decent price. No fancy high end components to push the price up, and build choice is so personal, you end up paying extra for stuff you don’t really want. This seems like a good price? I'm no expert though...
Hmmm, interesting. Mine also has the altered serial, and apparently the headset was reworked at the factory.
