In this group a big standout for me is Eric's @BC Rocky Mountain "Custom". Eric worked at Rocky Mountain and this frame is a bit of an anomaly in that it was made from two different parts of started frames from the early 90s (I will ask Eric again which two models if there is curiosity
). What is really cool to me is the paint scheme. The Canadian flag painted gatorblade is what I've used as my RB avatar for many years, very cool

Great bikes & turn out!
I was on vacation in Europe in early June, like many of us I can’t stop scrolling FB & eBay for cool parts or ideas even while on vacation 
, during some evening relax time was a good time for it. In recent months & years I've spent less and less time looking at local Vancouver Craigslist, I guess assuming most people have switched over to FB 
. Possibly I am not alone as I came across a really nice wheel set for only $40 after deciding to take a peak, seems it had been listed for a while. Being out of town I was lucky Roy owed me a favour and agreed to drive into Vancouver to grab them for me. Thanks Roy!
The wheels have some very good condition black Araya rims, 36H. Only VP-20s, not one of the higher end Araya rims but I really like the wide profile and the look, on the heavy side but who cares about weight right?
Exage hubs, nothing too special, decent hubs but I am too much of a parts snob to use them on one of my bikes. Also part of the wheels, tan wall WTB 2.1 Velociraptor tires in really good condition, can always make use of these, and a 7 speed cassette. $40 all in!
So, then the wheels start turning (pun intended). I’ll only use the wheels if I swap out the hubs. Also, I have never owned black M730/732 hubs. Hmmm I wonder how much black XT hubs will run? Turns out lot’s. Only live once though
Now which bike to build them for? Only one answer, has to be the romax
