I like this Hope hub, I have the front hub to it, I would like it but it is 142mm with a 12mm axle, I need 135mm with 12mm.

I can find conversion kits to make 142mm to 135mm QR but I want a 12mm axle still. I can't find the right conversion kit. I think it's a good price and tidy. I am a hope novice

Anyone know what to but or have what I need? 1000011035.webp

Er ... that's not a 142 hub, I am pretty sure. That's a 150, given the bearing housing pattern inboard of the drive side and the size of the gap on the rotor outboard side. That can only fit 150 rear spacing. I had the same mistake a few years' back - well a long time ago actually - and had to sell the hub on.

Have you really got a 135 rear spacing frame with 12mm axle facility? I have never seen that pattern since 142 came out with 12mm around the same time. 135 spacing can take a 10mmm bolt through - that was quite popular.

Is it? I'm not expert but a 135mm qr hope hub can have adapters to fit 142mn, even 148 but requires a further adapter for the disc rotor.

That is a Pro 4 DH hub. It was indeed available in 142. Your best bet for the right kit is to get in touch with Hope directly for the part no. and then order through any Hope dealer. Before you do though be aware that as the driveside flange is canted out over the freehub body, done to even out the flange spacing and provide a near dishless stronger wheel. It will only take the 7 smallest sprockets of a 10 speed cassette.
135x12mm was fairly common on DH bikes way back before the introduction of 150mm hubs and 83mm BBs.

Yes, as per my 2011-13 Orange Five.
This is my frame and I have a Hope Pro 2;

Above all, I'm convinced that hub above won't fit, you can see from the rotor mount it's too wide.

135x12 is definitely a thing, I'm looking at one as we speak.
Blimey that's new to me and you of course are dead right...a bit of searching and a 142 DH pattern 12mm suddenly popped up. Interesting. And the picture of the 135 DH is dead interesting. Gosh the folk in Barnoldswick are busy with their CAD.
