Dave Lloyd, with a difference

Re:

Amazing history.

It is still is a thing of beauty.

I didn't ride mine at all this summer, much to my shame, I was really concentrating on fitness leading up to a cycling trip to Scotland..... which ended up being postponed until next year... so I will have to do all that work all over again.

I'm not sure why I didn't take the Q650 out, it is a bit of a wall hanger but I do like to ride all my bikes, I guess I just didn't make the time, sticking mostly to my Rourke 853.

Ahh well, next year.

Gorgeous machine. Thanks for sharing some photos of it.

Neil, make sure to pm me when your Scottish trip gets rearranged, I'll come and say hello

Re:

I was supposed to be on Mull for the first week in June.

It has been postponed for a year, my accommodation is still booked as is my place in the sportive, but whether we will all be free to travel again by then remains to be seen.

As I'm in group 7.... I may have had the vaccine by then, but I ain't holdin my breath.

Yeah... might be borderline even in June unless vaccinations outstrip mutations.

Fingers crossed its barely an issue by then though.

Nice one, Neil :-) I should add that the Quantum 650 article I sent you was found on Dave Yates website... comparing Dave Lloyd's Quantum 650 to Dave Yates' 753 Service De Course.

Hi,
Might be worth starting a new thread asking for opinions. I’m afraid I don’t know anything about the alloy frames. Really cool you’ve kept your Concept 90 from new! Best wishes
