PRST1 build spec sheet document??? hey new here

hello there i have a prst1 bike and would like to kno the full spec list of the parts on the bike is there any documentation on this?

actually looking for a new rear hub

I can't help wirh the full spec but is the rear hub not a Hope, it is on mine. Post a picture here if you are not sure and someone will help. My prst1 is basically all XT but Hope hubs and brakes

hi, so it is a hope free hub but i belive its worn so is it a bushing of some sort or what is thr actual part been "hope" what bit

You could give Hope a call and see if they can help. Contact details are on their website, details below. If they dont have the parts come back here and someone will have an old hub/parts tucked away I'm sure.

Hope Technology is a high end UK hub manufacturer. Very nice, but unlikely to be original equipment on your bike.
The PRST-1 usually had Shimano XT or XTR equipment (including hubs) fitted.

The freehub is the section of the rear hub which supports the sprockets. It has a couple of bearings inside which get worn.
It also houses the one-way ratchet mechanism which allows you to drive the wheel but also freewheel along.
In almost all hubs, this part is serviceable and, if necessary, replaceable.



Take a photo of your rear hub, including any visible branding or numbering, also how it is worn/non-functioning, and we'll see if we can advise.
