Konas, lots of Konas.

Daft question from an idiot, but why the 2 different name decals on it?
But f'k me sideways that's beautiful, well done!
Thanks mate. Someone more knowledgeable than me will give a better answer but my understanding is Kona made the Hei Hei and then made a version of it with additional gussets to be stiffer for the pro race team and called it a Hei Hei King Kahnuna.

Both frame were available to order and in terms of the decals this is just how Kona did it (see the catalogue below)

Thanks mate I never realised that, every day is a school day and I thank you for the education this evening

Very nice mate, one day i'll get my own Hei Hei for the collection there just doesn't seem to be many 93 Hei Hei's out there and almost none come up for sale in 19"
I think i'm more likely to complete the full set of Explosifs before getting one of those 😂
93’ Hei Hei in 19” are quite rare I think. Not even sure how many are on the register. 91-92 seem to pop up on EBay every now and then but always silly money!

As opposed to Lava Domes of the same era that are like blades of grass in a meadow...
Shame that they are so rare, but suppose the utter desirability of them commands the price, and likewise the lower price of a Lava Dome 😂

Good Luck with the search, as Rutger Hauer once said good things come to those who wait....
OK he was talking about Guinness, but I assume it works everywhere else 🤔 👍
