Fake Scott?!?

I’m interested in buying this bike but unfortunately I’m having hard time figuring out what Scott model it is or if it even is a Scott.
So far I haven’t been able to find anything similar on any catalog of the ‘90s, so I’m turning to you hoping for a miracle!
