Thanks again for your solid information....I'm overwhelmed by how much in depth help I am getting on here.
I built up a 94 Kilauea during lockdown, and got slightly carried away with certain components.
But deep down I should have been patient and bought the bike I firstly intended to find and build ...The 93 Cindercone I had from new as a 15 yr old bought and saved with a rubbish summer job and the sale of my 1990 Muddyfox pathfinder (loved that paintwork, but weighed a TON)
30 years on I've found a frame, forks and stem in fantastic condition which I intend to gradually build up mostly based on the components I added over the following years until it got stolen in about 98!!
I will be using the wheels from my Kilauea build and a few other parts but other than that the frame will be sold along with forks ,stem, seatpost and anything else that won't bolt onto my cindercone and also won't suit.
I know I will regret this sale later on as I love the bike but just can't justify keeping it too and like I said,I was only intending to buy a Cindercone in the first place when I started looking back in late 2019.
Please see attached image....you may have already seen it before somewhere online but sharing with you as you seem to love your Kona's
