I have one of these. Super cool in person. You’re giving away at that price! GLWTS!
Those forks are rare and cost a Bomb as StM stuff is all proper artisanal boutique and made with precision and care

Maybe it is too late at night but how do these work?

The part that the bosses mount on is not connected to the dropout part. I have seen that type where the bosses slide in cutouts but this i can't work out. Bottom part clearly moves up and down but there are rubber seals at the top, too.

Help!

What’s the steerer size and is it 1.1/8” ?
Curious to know the weight and travel

1-1/8 by about 210 mm to the top of the crown. The crown is rather tall too. Weight is as shown. Travel is 80 or 100mm, I don’t remember which! There is also a german guy on eBay who does repro build kits to freshen these forks up. I have yet to find a repair/service manual or even a catalog. Been looking off and on for about three years (maybe in the wrong places).

In hand, this fork feels rather beefy. The machining is quite nice. Compression and rebound are even and smooth. There is plenty of fat to trim off too. The steerer is steel, the bolts are steel and the brake booster/bridge looks over machined.

It Is connected. The upper part Is fixed ti the crown, clearly. The arch and the brake studs are connected to the lower part and slide up and down along a "Window" in the upper part, which Is, in turno, covered by a sleeve which slides onto the upper part, alongside with the arch and the studs. I'm not sure if this is clear.
