Original Alpinestars tyres

One of my mates has got a pair of these that were originals on a recent EOS bike he bought.
What are they worth? He asked me!! I haven't got a clue but i'll bet i know a few people who might!!!!

I was talking about the pair but could be miles out. Thinking about it, if you found the right person I reckon they would pay £100 each?

I agree. It’s all about the right buyer. I recently bought an MS Racing CR2 frame and paid well over the odds for it. Simply because I’ve not seen one for sale for a very long time and I’ve wanted one for 33 years. Don’t get me wrong, I was happy to pay for it but I’ll never recoup the costs.

Same with the tyres I guess.

Yeah, I was kind of comparing them to other desirable tyres like Ground Controls. Alpinestars are popular with a decent following but are also not especially cheap. Plenty of really nice examples around as well as a few Ti-Mega's + Al-Mega XTR so I imagine people who own the nicer examples would be happy to pay a decent amount as there can't be many pairs left.

Put it this way, if a pair of Ground Controls in this condition came up for sale I'd be willing to pay up to £150 to put them on my mint Clockwork as they were OEM.
