A fellow man of great nutrition I see.Believe me I have got nothing to shame you about... Mega Clydesdale here...
I'd give you a good run for your money, a couple of years back I was 336lb but I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes so to keep all my limbs intact I dropped quite a few lbs...A fellow man of great nutrition I see.
Are we competing for the ultimate big mama of Retrobike title?
I'm 308lbs, dare you challenge?
Glad you've dropped some and are looking after your health mate. I've been down to my ideal weight once in my life but regained it all and a bit extra for good measure. I keep active every day and happily walk or cycle for hours, so just a matter of stopping the after drink snacking for me.I'd give you a good run for your money, a couple of years back I was 336lb but I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes so to keep all my limbs intact I dropped quite a few lbs...
Yes I have to think before I eat now, I also walk loads and cycle and have started to help on a care farm, so that all helps, also at 53 I guess I am a fair bit older than you? Lucky you she is definately a keeper...Glad you've dropped some and are looking after your health mate. I am fortunate to be happy in my own skin though, even though sometimes it's scary to think that my partner weighs about as much as 1 and a half of my thighs I reckon..... Haha
Yeah, folks that can afford to not think before they eat something are rather lucky. Sounds good about the care farm, I've heard such initiatives are great for mental health. I love tending to stuff and manual labour, gardening can be rather therapeutic for me. I struggle a lot with mental health, which you may be aware of from my postings in on the recent threads on mental health.Yes I have to think before I eat now, I also walk loads and cycle and have started to help on a care farm, so that all helps, also at 53 I guess I am a fair bit older than you? It is quite well known that I have had some struggles with my mental health too, sorry to hear that you are the same, especially at 27... The Farm is great and has probably saved my life, I started on a healthy eating course and now I am helping to run one, I do the cooking... It is great fun and has made me feel worthwhile again. Bless her for helping you, I think you are fantastic.Yeah, folks that can afford to not think before they eat something are rather lucky. Yeah, I belong to the what I imagine is a smaller minority dragging the age average of Retrobike down by a fair bit. I am 27.
And yeah the better half is definitely a keeper, having struggled with so many issues both mentally and physically, I'd have been a lot worse off had I traversed all that on my own.

This is where ALL the love is at.Probably the best self-hijack of any thread ever, I reckon.
I love you both. As you are on here, and I bet as you are in real life, too.
PS. I want to work on a care farm! Sounds amazing. Can we start one where all the animals are replaced with beat-up old bikes that need tending to?
