As per title I'm after either a Dura Ace or Ultegra 8 speed groupset, with downtube shifters. It's for a 1993 build so I think the Dura Ace would be 7400 and the Ultegra 6400. Happy to be corrected on that though. I'm not looking for nos parts but it would be nice to find some dark anodised rims without wear. At present I only have the frame, fork and stem, so need a few additional parts too.
I'd prefer to pick up the whole lot in one purchase and would gladly stump up to buy a complete bike, as long as the seller understands that all their hard work will be transplanted onto a different frameset!

I will have a complete used DA7402 group coming off a bike soon. Injured hand so I can't do it right now....if you're interested?

1993 was brifters, no? My 1993 Scott AFD 901 had them (and my 1991 Panasonic originally came with brifters as well).

Yes but down tube shifters were still available :)

Sure, some pro's even used cages and straps. ;-)

Sorry, I wasn't very clear. Shimano featured both downtube shifters and the combined units in the catalogue of this year. I'm more a fan of the downtube shifters
