No I use an antibacterial hard wax oil it's a little thicker than Danish oil so goes on quicker.

No that'd be cheating! No copy lathe all by eye and calipers....old school style! When I can find one I'll probably do them on a treadle lathe too just for extra fun
I could show you my tricks but you know...suffice to say with ornate grips much less than half the time is spent on a lathe!
I'll be selling them soon..... not sure where tho as yet,I'm not a huge social media fan but guess it's gotta be that route!
