Yep, I grabbed it Mainly for the rims and tyres, the group set will be perfect for another project I have in the queue too.

Seems like my inner harvester has struck again, so to appease my tortured conscience I'll have to karma the frameset on here in the new year complete with handlebars, stem, BB, headset, seat post, saddle and all cables etc.

What are the RM50 hubs like on those wheels? And are the AT20s better than AT18s?

RM50 hubs are a bit low-end. AT20s just wider than AT18 AFAIK; a great rim for canti brake blocks.

Glad you bagged it, as you say, even for just the rims and tyres and a near mint gruppo. The frame is probably useful for something too.

Although I said I'll karma the frame set it on here, there's a chance I might build it up using parts from my spares bin and give it to a lad at work. Just occurred to me that he expressed an interest a while back in a smallish bike to get him out of the car, it would be a perfect platform for a commuter, if that doesn't pan out though I'll definitely offer it on here.

Just picked it up and it's as good as it looked, the wheels, tyres and group set are pristine. The frame has a few minor scratches, but it can't have been ridden for more than a couple of hundred miles give or take.

Not sure if the bottle holder is CB branded, there are no markings to indicate but if you still want it @Peachy just let me know.

No worries, I have a use for it.

Stripped off the wheels and all the 400LX and have replaced with a mish mash of scruffy but perfectly functional spares from ranging from 200GS to Exage LX, stuck a pair of old araya's on with some half decent tyres and it rides quite nicely, soon it'll be in the hands of a workmate free of charge as mentioned above, conscience assuaged I'm going to list the treasure on fleabay The wheelset alone should get me my money back, anything extra will be invested in the current project.
