If I'd known about the circumstances I'd have still bought the bike, I might have offered to pay the postage though and I wouldn't have crowed about it. I think she must just want them gone, preferably to good homes, and this bike will be loved and looked after. Also I made my peace with God by offering her some advice to help her sell them more quickly and get a bit more for them, so I feel like karma has been restored somewhat.
