A Very British Klunker

The Santa Fe originally came with the obligatory Sturmey Archer 3 speed hub, in true Klunker style I am wanting to replace the side pull calipers with drums and ditch the internal gears in favour of a derailleur.

Found a NOS rear hub on eBay...
Which fits the frame

And decided to go down the Suntour gearing route as these were readily available in the UK in the late 70's

Yep to the first, hopefully to the second (more on the 78mm 26TPI BB later on)

As for the graphics, photos downloaded and clear tape tracing scanned. I’ll probably make a thread for the renovations sticky once it’s all finished.

With the help of @Peachy! had a rummage in his old road bike parts stash and had play with a few freewheels to see if I could get away without spreading the frame. Even a 3 speed freewheel catches the chainstay, so I guess the frame will need massaging...if only Bob Jacksons was still open

Not keeping it and the rims are not worth saving so happy to let it go unless the Cycle Museum want it
