Gary Fisher Marlin 2000

Dirt Disciple
Recently picked this up as it was my size (XL) and I liked the look of it! Pretty good condition overall and should be fine for some casual MTB trail riding?
Cleaned it up and replaced cables. Seems to be all original, even the original tyres have plenty of tread with no cracking.
Next job is new grease on all the bearings.
Any suggestions on forks maintenance, if they are working smoothly is it worth tearing them down?

Forget what's inside the jett but think it's basic spring or elastomer so I'd just pull the internals out, re grease and go for it.

Yes that's the plan, found a video on YouTube (RJ the bike guy) going through the whole process, looks pretty simple and no special tools required. Just need to get some proper grease that won't degrade seals.
