Doh! Thanks for the heads up. I did actually know that but I always get confused between the two. Most of my bikes are square taper!
Xtr bbs are octalink v1 spline and are 112 or 116mm axle length and fit both 68 and 73mm bb shells using spacers. M950 is the rebuildable unit, m952 sealed bearings.
Road versions are usually 68mm and 109.5 or 118mm axle length. 105, ultegra and dura ace versions.
Prices for the xtr ones tend to be high as hard to find. Road ones not so high but not the correct length but depending on frame, can work fine.
