It may help to list your size, just in case someone has a frame in that size. That being said, I haven't seen too many of those on here in the past 10 years.
Be sure to keep an eye on Ebay. You can save "araneus" as a search term and let Ebay send you a mail whenever someone lists anything with that name. With those rare bikes that's often the best method, but it can still take months that way ... or longer depending on the rarity of the bike.

Puch also made MTBs with the same frames, even with the same name if I'm not mistaken. Unless the frame absolutely has to say "Bianchi", I'd keep an eye out for those as well.

Thanks, I edited the post by inserting the size. So the same looms were made by Puch? I did not know. I'll do a search. Unfortunately, the araneus was already very rare at the time.

Photo from an old Gumtree listing. It looks pretty similar to me, just a much lower end groupset.

unbelievable! I didn't know the Puch made the same bike. I don't know if it is Puch that used the Bianchi frames or vice versa. I've been looking for an Araneus for a long time, even just the frame.

I doubt that Puch would buy a high-end Bianchi frame and put a low-end groupset on it. That just wouldn't make sense.
Bianchi probably bought the frames from Puch and then put high-end groupsets on them instead.

indeed! the Araneus had columbus cromor tubes. It was still steel but of superior quality. In a higher range there was the Bianchi Signature used by the Bianchi racing department for competitions and the frame was in Columbus Maxor tubes. But the Signature is even rarer than the Araneus.
