For me how the word is used is important.
If somebody has just 'rigged up' a bike and asks 'how do you like my rig' that is ok to me.
But the OP example of 'all mountain rig' or people talking about riding rigs - yes that sounds wrong.

I'm sorry but i seem to have noticed an increase in people calling their bikes 'rigs' on retrobike i would of thought people on here would know better.

Its not a rig its a bike.

'Oh yeah i really love hammering those trails on my all mountain Rig' :facepalm: (sorry i just brought up a bit of sick)
