they are bigger than 1 inch , not by much tho...... they have 22mm stamped on them........

"Stan" posted photos of 2 pairs of "generic H & L" bar/stem combos. They look very similar to yours; One apparently 21mm quill and the other 22mm.

A pair of Nittos would be quite a find.
Didn't they make the early Bull Moose bars for Specialized, or something??

they have h.t. taiwan 22mm wrote on them and look very similar to the ones in that like , the top bolts exactly the same........
