Seatpost nightmare update

Just thought is post this as a thanks to everyone who gave me their advise on how to get my well and truly stuck seatpost out of my beloved 1993 kona project. I tried every piece of advice given to me but had to give in and result to the drastic!!! It took an hr of machine drilling to thin the stem and then at least 2 hrs of very careful air sawing using lots of blades to part the happy couple! Hers a pic of the once 350mm seatpost, added a pen for scale...

The thing's we do!!!
