I won these bikes on ebay yesterday. They were advertised as spares or repair (along with a full sus Apollo)

Wasn't expecting much, although hoped that the Univega would be a good project. I was pleasantly surprised that the seller had undersold their condition - all are immediately rideable and only have some superficial rust. He also threw in a track pump, road pump and a couple of spare inner tubes for free!

Here are some pics. The Univega is in good condition with XT & LX parts and Mavic 230 rims. (around 93/94 I think). It's very light and is the perfect size for me.

The Peugeot is far too big for me but surprisingly light and is also fitted with XT/LX/Mavic 121 so must have been a reasonable model in it's day. Can anyone identify it for me? (around 94/95 I think).

I'll sell the Peugeot and Apollo and hope to make enough to cover what I've paid out.

I think the Univega is a 1994 model and if it's anything like my 93 Alpina Comp then it will ride very nicely indeed.

Columbus tubing and XT on the Pug suggests that it could be rather nice too.

The wheels on both bikes are in very good condition, all true with hardly any wear on the braking systems.

I like the wheels on the Peugeot a lot, they've got Mavic 531 hubs which I haven't come across before. Just realised the first post was wrong and they're
Mavic 121 Sup rims.

Peugeot is one make that seems to have little info on it. Obviously not a very popular make among retrobikers, even though some of their bikes were very good.

You should find the Univega is a lovely ride, its definitely a 1994, same frame as my 5.5 with better stock components.
Should be pretty light too, mine has a bigger frame and is around 23lbs albeit with nothing left of the stock components.
