most definitely
You used to have a Team Comp, didn't you?
Yes, I can say with almost 100 percent certainty that he is selling a Team Comp. I owned on in green. It's over in reader's rides. It took a little while to get it's exact model and vintage down, due to one of the previous owners sending it back to FCC for freshening up in the mid 90's, and they labeled it a "Wicked Lite" due to that being the only decals they had for that type of frame- not a Yo, but better than a Wicked.
I would've kept that bike had it not been for it being two sizes too large for me. I traded it to a fellow member, here and on Fatcogs. He enjoyed it for a bit, and then sold it on, to yet another Fatcogs member, so it has remained in the family. I could've probably gotten good cash for it, but it felt better to keep it in the family, and I made a new friend along the way.
Team Comps with the G.P. Wilson dropouts are sweet; the seller should post a pic of them. Also, that tange fork is awful on this bike- it deserves better. The Fat unicrown fork that just sold on ebay would've been better. Wonder if the seller held on to the SL Ti sus fork; probably not.
This was the team race bike, before the Yo Eddy came along. I'd want this bike, and would bid, but have a couple pending transactions that need to be completed first, so I'm out. Good luck to the bidders, and hope one of you guys win it. The last Team Comp frame with G.P. Wilson dropouts went for $800 on ebay, but it was a drops1 auction. I imagine this one should get over a $1000, but by how much, is anyone's guess. hope it makes it to the end of the auction
