Here's my E3 that I've recently put together, not 100% period correct... Lots of M900 though... I saw this frame on Ebay and just couldn't resist..

Nice....I'm liking that a lot!! 8)

Always fancied 1 of these with a set of Girvin Vectors, but that looks great with the Ali forks. A well thought out build..... Looks race ready! 8)

The 'Stay Retro' in your signature is cool too.... thought of putting it on a tee shirt?

Cheers,

i see you have the proper orange forks too.

Cheers for the heads-up on the cantis, I'll get those swapped over. Not 100 convinced on the stem, it's a tad too bulky I think but don't really want to run an SK8... I wpuld say it's a tad too small for me, but it's the only one i've seen in a while so couldn't let it go. It's also pretty much identical to my E2 i had as a kid so that was an extra bonus. The forks are super nice, I picked up another pair recently for my Prestige - a peek in the 93 catalogue shows a Prestige with Alloy forks so that's my next build i think.

Great bike, and great photos too! Bet they weren't that good when you bought it off Ebay!

Really beautiful and elegant bike, but with that frame I would need a much more forgiving fork!

I believe it's a 96. I haven't seen one before with that canti guide pipe, but the 95 frames had a bridge and other 96 E3s had a stop on the left hand side, while 97s obviously had Vs. M900 is a bit older than the frame, but I doubt whether many would find fault with it.

I'll check the frame number to get a date. I've got a 95 catalogue with the E3 in it and the Vit T on there's kitted out with M900. My E2 from back in the day had the little pipe for the rear cantis.
