All the bits came off without too much excitement.

Most looks okay, jockeys are screwed, saddle torn, Lhs thumbie missing top cap, probably new chain, cables, bottom bracket, cassette, brake blocks, headset and tyres

But by Christ it's dirty

But, the powder coat is in great nick, and the decals are intact so I reckon there's life in this old sarrie still!

That is wicked. As you say frame looks in great nick for a bike of 30 years. Such a bargain too.

Why are Saracen's soooo cheap? I mean I'm not complaining but I just don't get it. I check eBay daily and bikes of this vintage (87 - 90) are rare. So it isn't an over supply issue.
