For sale: a Vintage Viking Hosteller (5 speed "H"model 12549) from the late 1950s or early 1960s. It has GB Sport Mk 3 "blue" brakes and Arret levers; 27 inch rims (younger than the rest of the bike); GB stem; Cyclo dropouts; Viking "V" bolts; period saddle; Campagnolo gear lever; Huret rear derailleur. It should have a Campag Gran Sport rear derailleur. I've got the original, but it needs repair, if it's to be refitted. The original paintwork is in good condition, altho there are a couple of small chips on the downtube and the odd scratch here and there. The frame is quite large - seattube from centre of crankset to top is 59cm. The bike rides and changes pretty well and still looks very good. I'm looking for £175 for it and am happy to post at the buyer's cost. I'm based in south-London for collection.
