Starting a new thread on the build of this early Roberts frame.
It is frame number 344 and is one of the bike my late father had in his collection. He owned it from new and I used it, once I was big enough. I believe it is early 70's, although I'm trying to narrow down when.
The plan, is to bring it back to life as close to original as possible. Unfortunately the top and down tube are bend, due to an accident I had on it. The chrome is in good condition, so I will look to have the repairs carried out and then a re-paint.
I have other projects on the go, but as and when I can, I will update. Of course, if anyone has any info on a likely build date, then please let me know.
