6 speed Suntour cassette question

I'm trying to find a Suntour 6 speed cassette to use on my XC9000/Mountain Klein build but to date I've not found one and I'm getting impatient!

I had though about buying a later black CS-AP00-K6R (see below) and getting it plated but I don't think it would look right.

Alternatively could I buy a silver 7spd and a black 6spd and make a "special" i.e. use the 7spd sprockets and the 6spd spacers? Presumably the sprockets are same thickness?

Re:

It's worth a look as two cassettes is an expensive option! Can you send me a picture?

I didn't know there were 6 speed cassettes, were they fairly rare?
Black CS-AP00-S6R's and FH-HC10-R6's (XCD600) come up fairly often on eBay but I've yet to see a silver one with a 13T-28T range.

If I were to use a silver CS-AP00-S6R (6spd) and a silver CS-AP00-7SU (7spd) I can cover most of the range using the thirteen sprockets available; other than the 17T. Assuming I can mix and match I guess an 18T is the next best option?

I've a few suntour cassettes in my stash. Not sure if this is viable of not but some of them are 7 speed with the last two cogs the lock ring, others are 7 speed with the last cog as the lock ring. Is it possible to use the 5 cogs from one with the double cog lock ring version with the single cog lock ring to make a 6 speed cassette?
