The ValleyRunner was a Koga-Miyata mountainbike offering from 1988 to 1993. Entry level or one model from the bottom, depening on whether the ForeRunner was available.
Entry level, but still nice quality steel frames. Miyata Hardtlite FM-1 triple butted Spiral Spline tubing, brazed with lugs.
Major redesign for 1992: in line with the OS fashion the tubing dimensions increased and the headtube went to 1-1/8". Seatpost size 29.6mm (was 26.8). Cables now routed over the toptube.
Basicly identical to the TerraRunner of that year, but with brazed steel tail. Cast aluminium lugs and aluminium tubing in front triangle. Shared design features like extremely slooping toptube, Delta Force Monostay, Cobra Chainstays with the other bonded models for 1993.
