I was just going through my bookmarks on the site, removing the ones I no longer needed and I came across this thread as the first I had ever bookmarked.
Having much more recently bought a fluted tube mountain bike frame myself ( viewtopic.php?f=6&t=316824 ) I was momentarily very excited (and annoyed I had forgotten this thread) that I may have a lead in identifying it, but there are plenty of obvious differences.
Still, it's well worthy of a bump.
