XTR Front mech help

Sorry if it’s already been asked or even if it’s a daft question, but I’m struggling to identify which XTR mech type I need for my ‘96 Gary Fisher…..what I know, it’s top pull and 34.9mm and here is a pic from the catalogue, but I’m still not sure which M9** it is….

Must be M900 as M950 didn’t come in high clamp until M953.

No that’s M953. That came out in 98/99

are you sure it was XTR ? Maybe it was a M738 ?

Ah got you.
Should have said, I’m building it with XTR of the same era, so I guess I need to decide whether to spec an earlier (M900) or later (M953) than 96’ XTR front mech….given that the other XTR kit is m95*, the m953 might be the better/closer match…?!?!

And it does have an xt crank so makes sense.

Is there no catalogue spec for everything at the end of the catalogue?

Yeah looks like the black from XT, was thinking the exact same thing.
Also has the curvy shape.

edit; what is the model of the GF.
Can pull up a spec sheet from here no doubt.

I have a 34.9 top pull M900 but it's older then your bike.
Can take pics tomorrow if interested.
